Chel (voiced by Rosie Perez) is the deuteragonist of The Road to El Dorado. She is a young free-spirited woman that sought a life outside of El Dorado. She easily saw through Miguel and Tulio's ploy as gods and made a partnership with them. They help her escape, and she helps them in their ploy. Chel soon fell in love with Tulio.
