The Unversed are creatures that come from Vanitas when he was created from Ventus. They grow on the negative emotions of Vanitas and were used to make Ventus stronger in order to create the χ-blade. The Unversed race was destroyed when Vanitas was destroyed. No matter how many times Terra, Ventus, or Aqua defeat, The Unversed only return to Vanitas so they can come back even stronger.
